Birds, Bees and Butterflies -- Calistoga

Rachelle’s Garden

261759

During the summer this Calistoga garden is literally shrouded within a forest of flowers, including sunflowers and other pollen-laden plants, that attract countless “Birds, Bees & Butterflies.” The bountiful backyard provides sustenance for both pollinators and people. An enchanting and unique feature of this garden is the resident bird, Pearl, an African Gray parrot. Other special features at this garden will be a Gently Used Garden Book Sale, local Audubon Society on hand to answer question about local birds, and Master Gardener docents available with information about pollinators and the Great Sunflower project. There will be a limited number of free sunflowers seeds available as well. As a special treat, nearby neighborhood children will be selling fresh lemonade to benefit their college funds.
