Connie's Garden
Also located in St. Helena, this “Family Getaway Garden” has been home to multiple generations of the same Italian lineage family for 85 years. The current steward of her familial homestead, Master Gardener Connie, has incorporated her great-grandparents’ prized olive tree into her garden that blends her Italian heritage produce garden and outdoor entertaining traditions with her modern architecture home and water-wise native plants. A special feature of this garden will be a table staffed by California Native Plant Society members who can talk about California Native plant use in your garden. The Master Garden owner Connie maximizes her space by taking advantage of garden microclimates and inter-planting flowers along with food producing plants - creating a garden that “grows groceries.”
