Cedrus Deodara (ce-drus  de-o-dara)

  • Native to Himalayas (Nepal, India, Bhutan, China (Tibet), and Pakistan)
  • Grow at an altitude of 5,000 to 10,000 feet
  • Evergreen tree with branches that droop as opposed to the upward growing branches of the Blue Atlas Cedar
  • Cones sit upright on branches and are rose shaped
  • Average growth per season 36 inches & longevity over 105 years
  • Average height 40 to 60 feet and a width of 20 to 30 feet
