Growing up my favorite color was any shade of purple so it is no wonder that one of my favorite roses would be a shade of purple. And then, what is better yet, this rose is said to be just about the “most wonderful and intense perfumes in a Floribunda” (Heriloom Rose, on-line, 2019), or for me just a very pleasant sweet citrus scent that never tires. This rose I am introducing is given the name: Angel Face.
This beautiful lavender to purple color, semi-double ruffled rose is a low bushy, continual growing perennial, loving the heat and the more sun, the better the color tones will be. This is considered a medium size rose 3 1/2” with 25-30 petals (Weeks, on-line; 2019).
Angel Face is the recipient of several awards for its beauty and fragrance.
