- Pyramidal tree, branches in neat tiers; can grow as much as 3 ft. a year
- Grows to an average height of 40 to 60 feet and width of 25 to 30 feet
- Cones hang down and has shallow root system that could cause damage to surrounding area
- Life expectancy 100+ years
