Napa Master Gardener Speakers
UC Master Gardeners of Napa County are available to deliver research-based garden information to your group, such as garden clubs, business or civic organizations, neighborhood associations, and other groups.
Speakers are UC Master Gardener volunteers who are trained by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Master Gardeners have prepared programs using research-based information. Programs may be PowerPoint presentations, zoom programs, demonstrations or hands-on activities.
Possible Gardening/Horticulture Topics available:
- Rose care and pruning, fruit tree care and pruning, container gardening and vegetable gardening
- Pest control including garden insects, gophers, voles, moles, deer, weeds, invasive species, and plant diseases
- Sustainable practices, soils and mulches, habitat gardens, and water-wise gardening
There is no fee for this service. We are a non-profit educational organization and gladly accept donations.
To request a speaker, complete the Speaker Request Form and someone will contact you. Please submit your request 4 weeks before your event.
